Undiagnosed vascular diseases can be life-threatening and require medical attention.
Keeping arteries and veins healthy is important for good overall health. Regular exercise, eating a healthy diet, maintaining a healthy weight, not smoking, and managing stress are all essential to preventing vascular diseases.
However, if you are unaware there is an underlying issue, it may get to a point where you need surgery or other procedures.
This is why Vitale Vein & Vascular Center exists. It is our mission to help you get the right treatment for the proper diagnosis before your symptoms get too far.
This typically starts with vein mapping.

What Is Vein Mapping?
Vein mapping is a test that uses imaging technology (ultrasound) to create a three-dimensional map of the veins  showing their size and shape.
This helps doctors diagnose problems with the veins. Treatment options vary, but we always want to promote healthy lifestyle changes where we can before masking symptoms with medications or unnecessary medical procedures.
How Does Vein Mapping Identify Vascular Diseases?
During the vein mapping procedure, the doctor will use ultrasound imaging to examine the veins. This helps identify any underlying issues that might be causing problems such as blockages or narrowing of vessels that cause varicose veins, spider veins, discolorations, and even painful ulcers.
The map created from the results is used to plan treatments and procedures for managing any vein issues that arise.
Vitale Vein & Vascular Center works with you based on the outcome to properly diagnose and treat your veins. We work together to design a personalized treatment plan that fits your diagnosis and needs.
How Do You Treat Veins?
We offer three types of treatment.
Radiofrequency Ablation
Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat varicose veins. The doctor uses a probe that emits radio waves which heats up the vein wall, causing it to collapse and seal itself shut. This procedure is performed under local anesthesia.
Ultrasound-Guided Sclerotherapy
Ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive, image-guided procedure used to treat spider veins. The doctor injects a special liquid called a sclerosant into the vein using a tiny needle. This causes the vein walls to collapse and seal shut.
Conventional Sclerotherapy
Conventional sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat spider veins. The doctor injects a special liquid called a sclerosant directly into the vein using a tiny needle. This causes the vein walls to collapse and seal shut.
